Click on New Recipe from the Recipe section of the sidebar. A new page will appear that at first will look very similar to the post editor screen you will have used to create a new post. This is because it essentially uses the same process and format. I’ve used an existing recipe as screenshots below.
Give the recipe a name and type the description in the editor box below the title, just like you did in create post. Also give it a featured image in the same way as you did before..If you wish to have a gallery of images, choose the Add Gallery Images link on the right and select from the Media Glaaery or upload from your computer.
Select any Measurement Units you require for the recipe from the checkbox on the right hand side.
Now then, time to get your hands dirty. Let’s create the thing.
Firstly, scroll to below the editor box and selct yourself as the Author from the pulldown menu. Then scroll down to Recipe details.
Fill in as many or few as these as you see fit. Any left blank will not show on the outputted recipe. All this information is voluntary,
Now scroll down to Ingredients and Add New Ingredient.
Enter the amount, use the pulldown to choose the measurements, add the name of ingredient.
Add New ingredient as many times as you require
Repeat this process but for Steps:
Now, remembering to add a Featured Image for the archive page, scroll up and click Publish. Your recipe should now be on the archive page (Recipes)
